Research

We are an experimental group that conducts comprehensive and interdisciplinary research on colloidal nanostructures. Our activity focuses on interdisciplinary studies in the fields of physics, chemistry, materials science, biology and electronics. The group operations are based on several laboratories with complementary expertise, allowing for a whole technological process of device development, including:

  • nanomaterial synthesis and surface engineering, exploiting chemical techniques
  • spectroscopy and imagining of synthesized material, employing optical techniques, also in time domain, together with superresolution techniques
  • optoelectronic device development, mainly of light emitting diodes and photovoltaic modules
